In charge of discussion sections (20 students X 3 times in a week). The course is a general introduction to the  forms and patterns of postwar Japanese culture. Students learned common American perceptions (and misperceptions) of Japanese people and culture, education system, family organization, styles of intimacy, and patterns of work.

​I took a Japanese pedagogy training in Portland State University in the summer of 2011.  
Since then, I have taught Japanese in several universities in Boston from beginning to advanced levels.

Boston University Fall 2011-Fall 2013 (5 semesters + summer teaching)
LJ111 (first-semester Japanese) and LJ112 (second-semester Japanese)
Textbook: Genki, an integrated course in elementary Japanese. 
In charge of making syllabus, daily schedule, lesson plans, chapter tests and all teaching materials.

Boston College Spring 2014

Textbook: Genki and Tobira, Gateway to advanced Japanese (Third-year Japanese).
